Two entities will be invited to tender for the 30-year commercial lease of the Malanda Falls Caravan Park after a resolution at today’s ordinary Council meeting.

The decision came on the back of an expression of interest (EOI) process that gauged market interest from a wide variety of prospective caravan park operators.

‘We received three submissions through the EOI process, and Draks NQ and John McBride will now be invited to tender for the lease of the business, land and buildings that make up Malanda Falls Caravan Park,’ said Councillor Dave Bilney.

‘It is great to see the lease process continuing and I’m looking forward to its finalisation so we can secure the future of this important Malanda business,’ he said.
