Tablelands Regional Council is running a series of free workshops to help make your business more inclusive.
‘Dane Cross is from Spinal Life Australia will present two workshops and provide one-on-one consultations for businesses in our region,’ said Inclusion Advisory Committee chair Councillor Peter Hodge.
‘This is a great opportunity to learn how to make your business as accessible as possible.
‘Mr Cross is an access and inclusion consultant with experience in business mentoring.
‘He’ll be offering:
- Good Access = Good Business — 1.00–4.00pm Tuesday 13 September at Hallorans Hill
- Disability Awareness Training — 5.30–7.00pm Tuesday 13 September at Hallorans Hill
- Access Consultation for Businesses — 1hr one-on-one sessions on Wednesday 14 September at your business.
‘Register (trc.qld.gov.au/business-workshops) yourself, your staff and your volunteers by Wednesday 7 September.
‘The consultation opportunities are limited and will fill fast.
‘Remember to download (trc.qld.gov.au/making-business-better-toolkit) the resources from our Every Body Welcome Here campaign to help make businesses more accessible to people with a disability and our older community members,’ said Councillor Hodge.
